CISD names three new schools

The Conroe ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved the naming of three new schools: Timber Mill High School, Campbell Elementary, and Eissler Elementary, at its meeting on June 18. The two elementary schools are scheduled to open in August 2025, while the high school is scheduled to open in 2027.

Timber Mill High School will serve as the flagship for the District’s seventh feeder zone and will be located on North Loop 336 adjacent to Stockton Junior High, Bozman Intermediate, and Patterson Elementary. The timber industry brought many families to the Conroe area in the late 1800s, and schools were set up on the mill sites to accommodate the workers’ children. Six years before the establishment of Conroe ISD in 1892, the Conroe Mill School held its first classes, located near the community of Beach, which is in proximity to the location of the new high school.

Located in South Conroe, Texas, Mezzé #1 is a family-owned restaurant serving Middle Eastern cuisine. With founder Riad El Khaliabi’s Syrian roots, he has always wanted to open restaurants that bring the flavors and dishes he grew up with to the community.
