Hey MoCo!

It's been a while... like, a while.

If you've been wondering where The MoCo MoJo disappeared to, there's actually a pretty good reason.

We had a baby. 🤍

And as you can probably imagine, life got a little busy.

Between becoming parents and figuring out this completely new season of life, The MoCo MoJo slowly got pushed to the side. What used to be time spent driving around Montgomery County, checking out new coffee shops, finding local businesses, and putting together your weekly list of things to do started looking a lot more like... staying home.

And somewhere along the way, that got us thinking.

One of our favorite parts of The MoCo MoJo was finding the little things that made living here fun — a new coffee shop, somewhere to grab breakfast, a place to meet up with friends, or just something different to do on a Saturday.

But after having a baby, we started appreciating the little things at home a whole lot more, too.

A slow cup of coffee in the morning. Pancakes on a Sunday. Sitting around the table a little longer. Having nowhere else we needed to be.

And that's eventually where the idea for something new came from.

The House Coffee Club. ☕️📬

It's a monthly snail mail coffee club built around one really simple idea:

Making home feel good.

Each month, we're putting together an envelope designed to give you a little something to look forward to in the mail — a seasonal coffee syrup recipe, stickers, a curated Spotify playlist, a little notecard to share with someone you love, and a few other thoughtful details centered around that month's theme.

Our very first issue is called Sunday Morning, and it pretty much sums up the feeling we want this whole thing to have.

Good coffee. Something playing in the background. Nowhere you need to rush off to.

Just a little excuse to enjoy being home.

We're really excited about this new little thing we're building.

And in a funny way, it doesn't feel that far from where we started.

We spent a lot of time showing you little things around MoCo worth getting out of the house for.
