Are you thinking what we’re thinking? Rent a board and enjoy the day out on Lake Conroe 🏄🏼 - TZ Paddleboard and Kayak Rental offers the opportunity for you and your group to get out on the lake and cool off during the heat while having some fun! They also deliver board rentals to VRBO and houses on the lake for free.

We loved spending our afternoon paddle boarding while exploring Lake Conroe. They also have an easy setup where you simply scan their QR code, fill out a quick form, grab your board and you’re ready to go!

MOCO NEWS

🚌 In recognition of Commute Solutions Month, there will be “Free Fare Fridays.” On any Friday in September, “Free Fare Fridays” will offer free transportation for any passengers who wish to take The Woodlands Express, no tickets required.

There will also be Customer Appreciation Day at all three Park and Ride locations on Thursday, September 5, 2024. Guards will assist morning commuters with contest entries and information. Then, from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m., Township staff will greet returning passengers with refreshments and door prizes. Staff will also be available for questions and feedback.

Toasted Pizza Co. offers delicious, Detroit-style pizza. If you have not had Detroit-style pizza, you’ve gotta try it! You can find Toasted Pizza Co. only for a few more days at The Table at Madeley in Conroe, but they will be moving to Crazy Train Food Truck Park & Bar in Magnolia.

MOCO EVENTS

August is officially coming to an end and September is full of fun events!

Just a reminder for this week:

🎆 The Waterway in The Woodlands wants to celebrate Labor Day with the community. Stop by The Waterway on September 1st from 5 - 9 pm and enjoy a pie eating contest, children’s activities, live music, and if the weather permits, fireworks.

🙋🏼‍♀️ Ladies Night is happening at 6:30 pm on September 3rd, and this time there will be singing, dancing, a costume contest, and musical bingo.

Upcoming in September:

📚 This event is for those 18 months old to 4 years old and their families. Adventure Kids Playcare in The Woodlands is hosting family story time, where families can read together, craft together, and snack together.

🎪 Sip N' Shop will be in downtown Conroe on September 6th. There will be Vendors, Merchant Specials Galleries, Live Music, and Food. It all starts at 5 pm!

🚒 Conroe Stair Climb is on September 7th from 8 am - 12 pm. This event allows you to climb the tower and meet firefighters while enjoying some shaved ice from Dino Dave’s.
