XFit Her is a gym that is women-centered. It has fitness programs and facilities, exclusive events, a kids' zone, and discounted body scans for members. If you’re a woman who’s been looking for a gym but has not found the “perfect” one, take a look at this one.
The Collective in Downtown Conroe recently expanded to make room for over 60 local businesses to set up shop, as well as a coffee shop called Urban Grinds. We stopped by for the first time since they expanded, came across so many cool things, and had a great cup of coffee as we shopped!

MOCO MUST DO’S
Stay overnight at The Cozy Cabin in Montgomery. This tiny home is on 3 acres right near Lake Conroe, which gives you the perfect scenery for some fishing, hunting, and hiking. This is also a great spot to enjoy the time away solo, with your significant other, or with up to 6 guests. This is a spot you need to reserve ahead of time, so make sure you check their website for availability.
Become Pirates for the day on the Pirate Adventure Cruise on Lake Conroe. This 1.5-2-hour cruise can hold up to 42 people. Join the captain and the crew in singing, dancing, witty banter, and some family fun. Also, you can participate in water gun battles, sword fighting, treasure hunting, and authentic cannon fire.
MOCO BITES
The Wheel Kitchen Cafe recently opened in Conroe on Longmire Road. They are a farm-to-table cafe, serving specialty coffees, teas, sandwiches, salads, pastries, and more! They specialize in fresh, locally sourced ingredients and creating a welcoming atmosphere. It's the perfect spot for brunch with the girls, a morning date spot, or a day out with the kids. Don't leave without trying one of their signature muffins!
The Flaming Wheel Pizzeria is another new-to-Conroe restaurant that we have been impatiently waiting for! Prepare for some brick oven-baked pizzas, fresh salads, appetizers, baked pasta, and more still coming to the menu. You can find them on Longmire Road in Conroe, two doors down from The Wheel Kitchen Cafe!
