MOCO MUST DO’S
Montgomery County has some awesome farmers markets that we think are worth checking out! Here are just a few of them:

🥐 Main Street Market in Downtown Conroe takes place every Saturday from 9 am-2 pm. This one's got everything from fresh baked goods (Sweet Creations’ booth is a MUST!) to hand-made gifts and trinkets, home-grown produce, and local coffee They also have locally-made soaps, body care products, and hand-crafted jewelry. Several food trailers make the perfect grab-and-go lunch spot while browsing local vendors. There is plenty of parking around the downtown area, and we highly recommend spending some time after the market to visit the multiple other local shops and restaurants in Downtown Conroe!
🥬 Farmers Market on Tamina in Magnolia hosts roughly 30 plus local vendors every Saturday from 9 am - 1 pm. You can find produce and micro-green farmers, grass-fed and pasture-raised meat and egg farmers, specialty food producers, picklers, bakers and cookie makers, soaps and body care products, and select artisans of unique handmade goods. Additionally, there are plenty of options to grab lunch or breakfast from ready-to-eat vendors while strolling the booths here.
🥚 Montgomery Farmers Market in Montgomery is another one of our go-to markets when we need local produce, fresh baked goods (you HAVE to try some goodies from Miracle City Bakery’s booth; they are some of our favorites!), grass-fed beef, pasture-raised chicken and free-range eggs, local honey and homemade canned goods, fresh-squeezed lemonade, as well as an assortment of handmade gifts. They also have food ready to eat if you visit around mealtime, and it’s all delicious and fresh!

If you’re not quite the local market person, we won’t judge! Here are some other local things we suggest you check out instead:
🏎️ For those looking for high-speed, adrenalin-pumping, blood pressure-spiking activities, you should check out Houston Karting Complex off the South Loop in Conroe. The karts are professionally designed and operated and known as “The Most Exciting Karts in Texas”! They also have leagues and a league schedule for the professional drivers out there.

🎮 For those looking for the thrill of adventure but not so much danger and speed, we recommend checking out Zero Latency Houston in The Woodlands. They are located on the other side of i45 across from The Woodlands Mall. They are a free-roam virtual reality gaming arena of immersive, multiplayer experiences. Check out their website for the different VR games that they offer, as well as their operating hours.

MOCO BITES
We recently were invited out to try Smalls Sliders, a new drive-thru-only slider restaurant in Willis, and it did not disappoint! We loved that they have the option for a walk-up window, as well as some tables and chairs if you didn’t feel like sitting in the drive-thru line. There are clean restrooms available, too, if you decide to eat there. The drive-thru line moves quickly and efficiently, so when you are having one of those days that you just don’t feel like getting everyone out of the car, this is also a great option!
We had the number 4, which came with 4 sliders, fries, and a large drink, and this was the perfect amount of food for the two of us to share and feel content. Their fries are perfectly waffled and seasoned and delicious with their special Smauce. They have multiple different options and ways you can get your sliders, as well as numerous drink options and milkshakes that make the perfect pairing. Next time you find yourself in the Willis area, we highly recommend you “Slidin’ thru” this one! Watch our experience here.
