🏫 Lone Star College: A $34 million Lone Star College center being built in Magnolia is one of the college system's last projects from its nearly $500 million bond in 2014. Expected to open its doors in 2026, the new center recently broke ground along FM 1486 on June 27. Lone Star College-Montgomery President De' Reese Reid-Hart said she was excited for the 51,000 sq ft center to be near the finish line.

🏛 Township board names July as Parks and Recreation Month: The Woodlands Township Board of Directors proclaimed the month of July 2024 as Parks and Recreation Month in The Woodlands. “The Township supports its extensive network of parks, pools, pathways, greenbelts, recreation centers, boat houses, and an aerial adventure course, as well as the National Recreation and Park Association,” said Township representatives. “Parks and recreational activities provide valuable opportunities for community building, physical activity, socialization, and stress relief” “Citizens are encouraged to participate in leisure activities to experience refreshment and enjoyment.”

🐓 Chick-fil-A North Loop 336: There is a new Chick-Fil-A in Conroe on the North Loop that just opened - It is a drive-thru-only location but has walk-up order windows available as well.

🇺🇸 Star-Spangled Salute: The Houston Symphony is putting on its annual Star-Spangled Salute show at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on July 3rd. This is a great and fun tradition many locals look forward to each year - Don’t miss out on all the fun!

4th of July Celebration: Help celebrate America's independence at Pine Market’s 4th of July Celebration on the 4th from 6-8 PM! There will be Live music from Walker County Line Band, pony rides, a rock wall (For climbing…it’s not just a plain rock wall, that would be a weird thing to add as something “fun” to do… 😉), and many more activities!
