LOCAL

Deacon Baldy’s is a food truck park and outdoor bar located in Magnolia, Texas, offering a unique dining and social experience that caters to all tastes and ages. With regular live music events, trivia nights, and special festivities, this isa great place to spend your evening.

Grocery Store or Restaurant? Harvest Market in Woodforest has an interesting spin on a grocery store - In their words, they are a “Grocerant”. With a section dedicated to groceries, local goods, and freshly made items, and another section that’s a restaurant - Pizzas, Burgers, Breakfast, Chicken Sandwiches, Drinks, and many more options. This is one of our favorite one-stop-shop to visit in the area!

There are currently 913 people who have applied for a bed in our area. Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a non-profit organization that dedicates building beds for children in need. They have spent over 4,000 hours of volunteer work and have delivered over 1,000 beds in just our area. Nationwide, they’ve delivered 200,000 beds. There are ways to donate, or even volunteer to help build a bed yourself by checking out their website.

MOCO MUST DO’S

At The Woodlands Children's Museum, kids can engage in activities such as putting out flames at the Fire House, putting on productions at the Read-A-Lot Kingdom, and learning about healthy food choices at The Market. The museum also offers hands-on workshops on topics like robotics, art, and science.

Mini golf is something that we feel is underrated. It is a fun activity to play with family and friends and can be a small or big competition. Longview Greens Miniature Golfing in Montgomery gives you a fun course as well as some tasty treats when you go there!

Get together for an interactive adventure at Immersive Gamebox in The Woodlands. They offer a bunch of games that'll fit everyone's preference. Play games like squid games, angry birds, temple of coins and many others. This also is an activity perfect for all skill levels, which means, even if you have never touched an electronic before, you’re going to have a blast!

Downtown Conroe's Art Bench Tour takes you around Downtown Conroe reading the stories of people such as George Strake, the oilman who struck gold in Conroe, and Dr. Charles Stewart, the designer of the Texas Flag. There are 13 art benches scattered around the area, so you’ll be able to get a good walk in too. Be sure to stop in some of the local shops and restaurants while you’re there!
