MOCO LOCAL

The Audrey Restaurant & Bar is a stylish modern restaurant serving contemporary American cuisine located on the second floor of Market Street. They share a space with Reel Luxury Cinemas with a great view of the green. Their menu consists of meats, seafood, and pasta, with many prepared at the table. This Restaurant and bar features an iconic design of the 1960s era, which makes this stop even more of a unique experience!

We know it’s getting towards the cooler weather, but Big Rivers Waterpark & Adventures still has some activities you can enjoy through the rest of the year, such as their Halloween experience with Pumpkins After Dark, which features over 10,000 hand-carved pumpkins that light up the night, or their classic fairground rides getting a spooky twist at the Scaregrounds, with attractions like StratosFear and Spindletop.

Fall at Lake Conroe, just how we like it… While there’s nothing crazy to draw you to this spot, Monty’s Lighthouse in Montgomery is one of our favorite spots to go. What’s the secret? Something about when the weather cools down and sitting on Lake Conroe in the sunshine while enjoying a good burger and fries…it always hits the spot for us! As soon as the weather turns, you can bet that we will be visiting this spot quite often.

If you’re looking for a more unique, upscale option for dinner, you’ve gotta check out Whiskey Cake in The Woodlands. We love their unique flavors and their moody atmosphere. And of course, the star of the show, the whiskey cake with homemade whipped cream is incredible! We highly recommend trying this place out for your next date night!

MOCO MUST DO’S

Mini golf and arcades? Yes, please! Shankz in The Woodlands was such a fun experience for us! We were huge fans of the themes and decor around the course. Not to mention, black light mini golf? We were obsessed. Our only wish was that the course would have been longer because it was such a fun spot! We loved that it was indoors though and gave us another activity to do during the Texas heat.
