The Collective in Downtown Conroe just got bigger, with an expansion to have over 60 local businesses and a coffee shop. From cool handmade items to unique local finds, there is so much to see and so many cool businesses you can support. And of course, you can grab a cup of coffee at Urban Grinds while shopping

Jewelry always makes a great gift - whether it’s for friends, family, or even just to treat yourself! There’s a local shop in Magnolia called Olivia Grace Jewelry that specializes in handcrafted, one-of-a-kind pieces like bracelets and earrings. What’s great is that their jewelry is both affordable and high-quality, so you don’t have to break the bank to find something special.

Blessed Stitches creates the cutest hand-crocheted animals, each one made by hand using skills passed down from her mom. We recently stopped by her booth at a local market and couldn’t resist picking up one of their cow plushies. They also have an Etsy store you’ll definitely want to check out!

MOCO MUST DO’S

Check out McDade Park in Conroe, It’s a great spot to get outdoors and enjoy some fresh air. You can take a walk on their ½ mile trails or challenge yourself to a game of disc golf. The park also offers a pavilion, athletic fields, exercise stations, horseshoe pits, and basketball courts, so there’s something for everyone.

Looking for a bite to eat with some history? Walden’s Lakeview Dining, the first restaurant built on Lake Conroe, has been serving the community since 1972. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a meal with a view, especially at sunset. Whether you’re in the mood for great food or just want to soak in the atmosphere, this restaurant is a local gem worth visiting.

MOCO COMMUNITY

Sleepy Hollow is a new community located in Conroe near the lake. The Reserve on Sleepy Hollow is the first of the Reserve Communities. You can find a beautiful central lake, new amenities, wide streets, and home details such as 3-car driveways. There will be opportunities to connect with the community at the swimming pool, kid-friendly playground, community center, and various green spaces.

Grand Central Park in Conroe is a 2,046-acre oasis and is the perfect spot for those who love hiking, biking, and jogging trails that fall along wooded trees and lakes. Deer Lake provides the perfect place for fishing and a picnic. More amenities in the neighborhood consist of a resort-style pool, dog park, parks and playground, the Lake House, and a fitness center. 336 Marketplace features shops and restaurants that are located nearby for your convenience.
