$920,000 raised! 💰

The non-profit organization YES to YOUTH recently held its annual fundraiser and managed to raise $920,000, which will benefit the organization’s goal of providing crisis intervention, suicide prevention, mental health counseling, and a safe nurturing home for youth in need.

Update on The Woodlands 50th-anniversary concert 🎫

So, we have mentioned before that The Woodlands is celebrating its 50th anniversary in October with a free concert at the pavilion. You’ll get to hear music from country singer and four-time Grammy award winner Lyle Lovett, as well as Country and Americana Grammy Award and Best Country Song nominee, Hayes Carll.

But, The Woodlands recently announced that Jack Ingram, a local to The Woodlands, and a Grammy-nominated country music artist, will be taking the stage with the others to celebrate this fun event as well!

Conroe considers a moratorium on development until it can build water wells to address growth 🦺

The City of Conroe Council will consider a moratorium on new development until they can build several new water wells to keep up with the growing city. The Council will meet on Wednesday to discuss the details of everything, so make sure you keep reading our upcoming newsletters to hear more.
